Brevity Portal Updates 2021

This article highlights the new features and updates made to the Brevity portal as part of our August 2021 update.

We have made several performance and usability changes also to make using the portal easier and faster. We are also making integration between the portal and mobile app more seamless.

New Title Field

A Title field has been added to allow you to set a custom title. This makes it easier to find or search for past entries.

The Title field was added in addition to the Comments field that was added recently to the Schedule Board and My Calendar screens, that allows you to add notes or reminders for future scheduled entries, and the Completed checkbox that allows you control over when an entry is marked as completed.

Note Tags

Inclusion of Note Tags while recording entries allows you to easily find entries via the note search. The note tags allow you to setup global tags, and will also have client specific tags from the goals section and external provider section on the client profile.

Note Search

A note search was recently added to the client profile for searching entries. This has been improved to search on a date range, custom title and on the improved tagging.

Recurring Appointments

We have now added the ability to create recurring appointments or tasks via the Schedule Board and My Calendar screens.

Addition of a list view

A new list view toggle on the client profile screen allows for a condensed view for more easily locating entries. You can use this icon to toggle between the details view, which is great for reading up on recent notes, and the new list view.

Keyworker Filters

A toggle has been added to the Dashboard and Client search to allow the client keyworker to filter to see just their clients.

Hours Worked Reporting

Total consult and travel hours has been added for the day entries and a total was added to the top right of the Schedule Board and My Calendar screens.

A report button was also added to provide a printable version of your hours.

Schedule Board & My Calendar Improvements

Entries on the Schedule Board and My Calendar has been enhanced to include travel and transport as well as icons to indicate if comments and attachments have added to entries. Entries on the calendar will also expand when you hover over them to show full details.

Client Communication & Notes (coming soon)

Ability to include client communication and notes for access via the portal. This allows view of all client communication and notes as well as the ability to add communication and notes for the client via the portal.

News & Feeds

The News & Feeds feature in the portal has now been updated to be in line with the functionality we have in the Brevity Core.
