Invoice Option

You have an option to set the invoice if Brevity will set the invoice as per line item or for a single invoice. You could change this by going to Administration from Main Menu and then clicking on funding sources from sub menu.

Once you are on the list of funding sources, you could double click on the funding source that you want to edit.

You will see a new option on the right side for the Invoicing options.

Invoice Type - This will let you select if you want to have a single invoice for the client. Having a single invoice will have a different line item to the invoice. If you select by Line item, Brevity will create an invoice for the different line items for the client.

Client Name in Invoice Number - Setting this to Yes will include the name of the client for the invoice. If you set this to No, it will just generate the invoice number for the client.

Include in Invoice Sync - This option will let you select if the invoice for this funding source will be transferred to your accounting software (Xero / MYOB).

NDIS funding source should be set to per line item. This is because if you have a single invoice for the funding, Brevity will not correctly set the status of the claim for the client when you upload the claim file from Proda. This might result in double claiming if there is a single invoice that has been set for the NDIS Funding source.

Checking for Single Invoice and multiple line items

You could see the difference if the invoice is set to a single invoice or multiple items. Single Invoice has multiple claim code when you open the Invoice Batch

An invoice with per line item will have separate invoices for the client.
