Brevity Core Updates December 2021
This article highlights the features updates made to the Brevity Core as part of our December 2021 update.
Design Improvements
We last made updates to the design of Brevity core almost five years ago and it was time for an update. A new look and feel has been rolled out for all customers, boasting a new clean modern design.
New Schedule Board Day View
We have improved the layout of the day view on the schedule board. The new horizontal layout allows for the full details of the shift to be visible without needing to hover over the shift. This special view shows clients/staff within separate columns, with the timeline of the selected day represented within the view to more easily gauge availability.
SMS Shift Notifications
A new SMS function has been added on the schedule board that allows bulk notifications to be sent to both clients and staff depending on whether you are in the client or staff view.
This allows you to select at least a week period to send out notifications for.
Which will display all available clients/staff that have shifts between the selected period to send notifications to. You can also click the preview button to view the info that will be sent to them via SMS. You can selectively select the ones to send to using the checkbox next to their name and click the Notify button in the top right.
Client Checklists
A new checklist feature has been added to the client profile, similar to the staff compliance check section, that allows onboarding tasks and records to be maintained for clients to be managed via this section. You are able to define the checklist requirements by funding source via Administration > Client Checklist.
You can then set the clients' ‘program’ via the profile.
This will then display and allow you to manage the checklist you have defined within the dashboard area of the client profile, similar to staff compliance checks.
Plan Management Module Improvements
We have been working hard to improve the speed and accuracy of the invoice parsing (OCR) function within the plan management module to save time processing invoices.
We have also added the ability invoice for the monthly processing fee via the plan management module so these charge are reflected on the monthly statement. This is done by selecting the Yes option within the Claim via PM Batch field, which will automatically transfer the invoices to the plan management section and generate a PM claim batch for the invoices.
We have also added the ability to bulk resend provider remittances to advise what has been processed for a particular period (normally a month) to ensure no invoices were missed.
