Enable Brevity Publish Shift Option
Please note that this feature is only available for instances that are on the latest version of Brevity
The Brevity publish option allows you to make changes to the schedule and only publish the changes when you are ready. This stops support workers seeing these shifts in the mobile app until you have published them.
Enabling the publish option
To enable the publish option, navigate to Administration > Branch Setup. Then place your cursor in the Organisation field and click the arrow icon in the bottom right…
On the organisation screen, within the System Settings section, turn off the Auto Publish Shifts option, to manually publish the shifts.
Publishing Shifts
Once the Auto Publish is disabled, the entries will display in grey to indicate they are not published when adding or making changes to shifts on the schedule. You can also check the indicator in the top left of the screen to see the count of unpublished shifts.
To publish shifts, you can click the publish button shown in the top right of the schedule board (as below).
You also have the following options when deciding which shifts to publish:
You can select the shifts you want to publish and click the publish button to only publish those shifts
You can search for a particular client or staff using the filter to only publish their shifts (do not select any shifts otherwise only selected shifts will be published)
You can publish all shifts in view by not selecting shifts or applying a filter and click the publish button
Once published, the shifts will show in blue, to indicate they are now published for the staff to see in the mobile app.
