Creating a Plan through the API
This page guides the plan manager through the processes of creating by means of the API a plan management record and Budgets (if non-pace) within Brevity.

Introduction
For those plan managers that are using the NDIS API, plans and budgets for new and existing participants can be registered into Brevity.
Error Checking
When registering plans either for an existing or new client, Brevity will check the accuracy of the following information.
NDIS Number
Last Name
Date of Birth
Start Date
End Date.
Brevity will alert with the following errors.
Registering a New Plan for an existing Brevity Client
To register a new plan within Brevity for an existing client you will need to observe the following steps.
Click the + New button from the Plan Management Plan List to present the New Plan Management Plan Record Step 1 Client details form.
You will observe that the Existing field is set by default to Yes.
From the Client field either key in or select from the drop down list the client whose plan is to be created.
Client selection will update the NDIS Number field with the details held against the client profile.
Click the NEXT button to initiate error checking. If there are no error you will advance through to the Step 2 - Plan Details page, otherwise EXIT and verify the client and plan information.
Funding Source should default to NDIS. If it does not select this value from the Funding Source reference list.
Select the applicable pricelist from the reference list.
Select the applicable price guide from the reference list.
Accept, Update or specify the State Date of the participants plan.
Click the NEXT button to initiate error checking. If there are no error you will advance through to the Step 3 - Financial Details page, otherwise EXIT and verify the client and plan information.
Only service budgets for non pace plans will be created

Registering a New Plan for an non-existing Brevity Client
To register a new plan within Brevity for an existing client you will need to observe the following steps.
Click the + New button from the Plan Management Plan List to present the New Plan Management Plan Record Step 1 Client details form.
You will observe that the Existing field is set by default to Yes.
Adjust the Existing Client field to No, to make visible the following fields.
Input the particulars of the participants first name.
Input the particulars of the participants last name.
Input the participants NDIS number.
Input or select from the calendar picker the participants birth date.
Input the participants email address.
Mobile phone is optional data-entry.
Click the NEXT button to initiate error checking. If there are no error you will advance through to the Step 2 - Plan Details page, otherwise EXIT and verify the client and plan information.
Funding Source should default to NDIS. If it does not select this value from the Funding Source reference list.
Select the applicable pricelist from the reference list.
Select the applicable price guide from the reference list.
Accept, Update or specify the State Date of the participants plan.
Click the NEXT button to initiate error checking. If there are no error you will advance through to the Step 3 - Financial Details page, otherwise EXIT and verify the client and plan information.
Only service budgets for non pace plans will be created
