Creating a new client funding
There are different ways on how to create a client's funding. You can create the funding from the client's profile, client's funding section and schedule board.

Creating the Funding from the Schedule Board:
You need to click on the $ sign under the client's name to open their client funding
It will open a pop up where it will open the client's funding. If there is no client funding, click on the create funding button.
Creating the HCP Details
Once you are on the clien't funding page, fill in the details to create the client's funding. Be sure to set the funding source to CHSP and select your CHSP pricelist.
Publish the Client's Funding so you can use it in creating the service schedule of the Client.
Adding / Linking the Service Type to the Funding
You need to add a service type in the client's funding. This will ensure that when creating a claim, it will use the client's funding. Under the services section, click on the + button to add a client's funding
A new page will come up. Fill in the details for the service type that needs to be linked to the client's HCP funding.
Once you filled in the details, click on the save button to link a service type to the client's CHSP funding
Linking Multiple Service Type
You can link multiple service type for the client's CHSP Funding. Click on the Bulk Add Services button to add multiple services to the client's funding.
You can use the search box to search for the service type that you want to add. You can also click on the dropdown to set on how many service type that can be seen on the page.
You can select the service type by clicking on the name of the service type. Once you selected the service types, click on the select button to add the service type to the funding.
You can go to the services section to edit the service type details. You need to double click on the service type to edit the client's service type detail.
Fill in the Details for the Service Type. Once you filled in the details, click on the save button to save the changes.
Scheduling & Invoicing
DEX reporting is done for Brevity invoice batches. Once you have setup the client's funding you are able to setup their roster, complete the shifts and invoice for the services using the standard Brevity process, so they can be reported via the DEX web service integration.

DEX Reporting
Brevity has integration with the DEX webservice for quick and easy reporting. The reporting screen can be found under the Administration menu
Connecting your DEX account to Brevity
You will need to provide your account login details so Brevity can communicate with your DEX account. Please be sure to use the System Account details that was provided to you by DSS here.
Once connected you will see confirmation of the connected account on the top of the screen. You can remove the connection at any time using the Disconnect button.
Mapping details from DEX to Brevity
As the first step, you will need to link the outlets setup in DEX to branches in Brevity. To do this simply click in the Outlet column next to the Branch you want to update the mapping for, and select the relevant DEX Outlet from the list. You must complete the mapping for all branches. Click the continue button in the bottom right to save the mapping, and again once saved to move to the next step.
On the second step you will need to map the Service Types in DEX to the Service Types in Brevity. Click the Fetch DEX Services link to retrieve the service types you are registered to provide so they can be mapped to the service types in Brevity. If you register for additional activity groups later you will need to revisit this tab, Click the Fetch DEX Services to get the updated list, and map to the relevant Brevity service types.
To map the Brevity service types to DEX service types simply click in the DEX Services column next to the Brevity service type you want to update the mapping for, and select the relevant option from the list. You must complete the mapping for all Service Types. Click the continue button in the bottom right to save the mapping, and again once saved to move to the next step.
DEX Reporting
Once you have mapped the Outlets and Service Types from DEX to can submitting your DEX reporting. Brevity supports syncing of Clients, Cases and Sessions from Brevity to DEX. You are also able to sync clients from DEX to Brevity.
To submit your DEX reporting simply select the invoice batch that you want to submit the reporting for. This will create sessions in DEX for all services that were included in the invoice batch. If there are any new clients, or if you have updated information for existing clients, these will be included in the reporting. Brevity will also create cases for clients in DEX as required to attach the sessions to.
If there are any clients that need to be created or updated in DEX these will be shown on the next tab. If any of the required fields missing or validation errors are found, these will be highlighted on the top of the screen. You will need to fix these via their client profile and return to the sync screen to continue with the sync process. Click the Sync data button in the bottom right to transfer the client information to DEX and proceed to the Session data sync.
You will be able to preview the session information before submitting. Click the Sync data button to complete the sync.
You will receive confirmation of the sync results as below. If there are any sync errors, these will be highlighted on the screen below.
