Client Service Calendar

This page provides an overview of the Client Service Calendar.

 

Introduction

The Client Service calendar, accessed through the Clients>Service Calendar sub-menu is a page within the Brevity web application that displays the clients scheduled services based upon the specification of both a time period as well as optionally the support worker. The scheduled information listed into the page can be be both inquired upon through the service schedule page and output to a printer.


Navigating the Client Service Calendar page

The following is an outline of the fields and objects that comprise the Client Service Calendar page

  1. Client name: This is drop down field that lists the names of your clients. The client name can either be input in free text or selected from the drop down list.

  2. Support worker name: This is drop down field that lists the names of your support workers. The support workers name can either be input in free text or selected from the drop down list

  3. Service type: This is a drop down field that lists the schedule status types. Select either an individual status type or the option of SELECT ALL from the drop down list.

  4. Schedule status legend: This provides a colour coded legend that assists in interpreting the service statuses listed within the calendar.

  5. Reporting start date: This field is used to specify a commencement date for the service period that is being inquired on. The value can either be specified as a free text input or set from the date picker.

  6. Reporting end date: This field is used to specify a cessation date for the service period that is being inquired on. The value can either be specified as a free text input or set from the date picker.

  7. Print button: Selecting this button will open the print page, to allow the calendar of services to be sent through to a printer or printed to file in pdf format.

  8. Service Calendar: This grid lists the clients service for the reporting period that are being delivered by either all or a specific support worker. Each calendar entry includes the service date and time, name of the support worker delivering the service and location and type of service. Double clicking a selected service entry will open into a new browser tab the clients service record.


Listing a Clients Services

To present a listing of the clients services observe the following steps:

  1. Select the Clients>Service Calendar sub menu to open the Service Calendar page.

  2. Within the Client field either input in free text the client name or make your selection from the drop down list.

     

  3. Within the Employee field either input in free text the name of the support worker or make your selection from the drop down list.

     

  4. Within the schedule status field select the applicable schedule status from the drop down list. Selecting “Select All” will list all schedules, whereas selecting a status will only present those schedules identified with the selected status

  5. Within the From field specify the commencement date of the service period that you are reporting on, the date can be input in free text or set through the calendar picker.

     

  6. Within the To field specify the cessation date of the service period that you are reporting on, the date can be input in free text or set through the calendar picker. Once the date is set the service calendar will be updated with the services that match the criteria that you have specified.


Reviewing a Service Schedule

To review the particulars of a clients service schedule you merely need to highlight and double click on the service entry listed within the calendar to open the service schedule record into a new tab within the browser.


Printing the Service Calendar

 

To print a copy of the service(s) listed within the calendar select the icon to open the print page.

The parameters available through this page enable you to:

  • Select the print destination.

  • Set the number of copies of the service calendar that are to be output.

  • Page orientation, selection and colour

  • Paper size, number of pages per sheet, double side printing and setting the margin.
