Shift History

This page provides an overview of the support workers shift history and navigating the client service panel within the Brevity Care mobile application.

Introduction

The shift tab allows the support worker to review client services scheduled for that day, upcoming and having been completed. These shift categories can be accessed by selecting the applicable shift tab within the dashboard.

 


Reviewing Shifts

Please observe that scheduled services for the day are reported under the dashboard tab. To review the particulars of a completed or scheduled client service observe the following steps:

  • To review the particulars of an upcoming service tap the upcoming tab, slide the screen to the relevant shift and tap the icon to open the shift summary screen.

  • To review the particulars of a completed service tap the completed tab and slide the screen to the relevant shift and tap the icon to open the shift summary screen.

Reviewing the Client Location

Brevity utilises your mobile devices default navigation app to provide you with details and directions for the address at which the clients service is being delivered. To access your default navigation app tap the client address link with the service panel.

 

 


Contacting the client

Brevity utilises your mobile devices phone app to allow you to ring the client on the numbers that are listed if these have been configured to be shown in the shift panel. To connect with the client tap either the home phone or mobile phone links.

 

 


Viewing Client Summary information

To view the Client summary page select the View Summary link from within the Shift Panel. The following is a summary of the elements that comprise this page

 

 

 

 

 

  1. This represents an image of the client assigned to the client record through the Brevity Care web application.

  2. This label lists the clients given name and surname.

  3. This label lists the clients gender.

  4. This label lists the clients age.

  5. This label lists the client spoken language.

  6. This label lists the clients address of service. The display of the address is regulated by a Show Portal Address configuration setting located on the Branch record

  7. This label lists the clients phone number. The display of the address is regulated by a Show Portal Phone configuration setting located on the Branch record.

  8. This label lists the clients mobile number. The display of the address is regulated by a Show Portal Mobile configuration setting located on the Branch record.

  9. This label lists the clients condition.

  10. This button allows you to review any client related documentation.

  11. This button allows you to review the clients goals.

  12. This button allows you to review details of the clients medications.

  13. This button allows you to review the clients service history.

 

 


The fields and labels that comprise the shift panel include:

 

 

 

  1. Client Name: This label lists the name of the client that is receiving the scheduled support or service.

  2. Activity: This label provides a description of the service or activities (if these have been specified) that are being delivered.

  3. Schedule time of service: This label lists the start and end times and duration of the scheduled service.

  4. Alerts and notifications applicable to client: This label will lists any notifications that have been registered into the Risk Notification field on the clients profile.

  5. Additional Roster comments: This label will list any additional comments related with the clients service that have been assigned to the service schedule record.

  6. Client Address: This label will list the client address. The display of the address is regulated by a Show Portal Address configuration setting located on the Branch record. If the address is displayed you can select the link to open that detail up into your default map app.

  7. Client Phone number: This label will list the client phone number. The display of the address is regulated by a Show Portal Phone configuration setting located on the Branch record. If the phone number is displayed you can select the link to ring the client.

  8. Client Mobile number: This label will list the client phone number. The display of the address is regulated by a Show Portal Mobile configuration setting located on the Branch record. If the mobile number is displayed you can select the link to ring the client.

  9. Client Documentation: Selecting this link will open the client documentation page. The Documents that are displayed through this page are determined by the viewing rights assigned through the document panel on the client record.

  10. View client summary: Selecting this link will open the summary report page that will allow you to review the clients service history, medications, goals and documentation.

 

 


The fields and labels that comprise the Service view page include:

 

 

 

 

  1. Client Name: This label lists the name of the client that is receiving the service or support.

  2. Service Type: This label provides a description of the service being delivered.

  3. Service Date: This label lists the date that the service was/will be delivered.

  4. Time: This label lists the start and end times of the service.

  5. Start time: This specifies the start time of the delivered service.

  6. End Time: This specifies the end time of the delivered service.

  7. Breaks: This specifies whether the client attracts a scheduled break

  8. Hours: This specifies the total number of hours for the client service based upon the support workers clock on and off times.

  9. Hours Diff: This specifies the actual hours when there has been a difference of the schedules service start and end times.

  10. Travel Time: This specifies travel time to the service. The value is set by the support worker by increments of 5 minutes. Specify only in absence of travel (km). Determined by the transport setting

  11. Travel (Km): This specifies travel time to the service. The value is set by the support worker as distance traveled. Specify only in absence of travel Time.

  12. Odometer Start: This specifies odometer reading at start of shift. The display of the odometer is regulated by a Show Odometer Fields On Mobile configuration setting located on the organisation record.

  13. Odometer End: This specifies odometer reading at end of shift. The display of the odometer is regulated by a Show Odometer Fields On Mobile configuration setting located on the organisation record.

  14. Transport (Km): This specifies the distance traveled by the support worker during the shift. The display of the transport field or the max km value is regulated by the travel and transport settings.

  15. T/Sheet Comments: This field is used to register an explanation for any variation in the shift start or end times.

  16. Reportable Concerns: This field is used alert management to any concerns arising out from the service.

  17. Notes: This field is used to record as text or via voice a progress notes related with the service.

  18. Client Signature: This label lists whether the clients signature has been collected.
