News feed setup

To setup a news feed that then can be accessed through the Brevity Care mobile application observe the following steps. It is necessary to create the relevant communication groups and communities before establishing the newsfeed.

Open

1. From the Brevity Care web application select the Feed icon located to the right within the menu bar to open the feed page.

2. Select the Manage Newsfeed button to open the newsfeed list page.

    

3. Select the new button on the news feed page to open a blank newsfeed page

    

4. Within the name field input the name of the newfeed. This will displayed as feed’s heading in the mobile app after publishing the feed.

5. Within the description field input a narrative the details the purpose of the newfeed.

6. Within the type field select from the drop down list the category of feed. Selected feed type will get displayed in the mobile app over the feed as a label.

7. Within the community field select from the drop down list the community to which the feed will apply to.

8. Within the Is Published field select ‘Yes’ to display the feed within the mobile app.

9. Within the Is Featured field select Yes’ will pin feed to the top of feeds page in the mobile app.

10. Within the Require Read field select Yes if the feed needs to be read other select No.

11. Within the Expires On field input the date or use the date picker to set when the feed will cease to be available for review through the mobile app.

12. Click Save to create the newsfeed record

13. Click Close to exit back to the list page.
