Managing Login Credentials

This page guides you through the creation and management of login credentials for client and user records.

 

Introduction

Login credentials can be established for both employees and clients to whom you are delivering supports and services.

The provision of a login credential for your employee will provide them, subject to their user role with access to the Brevity Care mobile application, the Brevity Self-Care Portal if being used and the Brevity web application.

Employee access to the features within the Brevity core application will be determined by the user role that is assigned to their login credential.

Clients

The Provision of a login credential for your clients will provide them with access to the client version of the Brevity Care Mobile application.

Community Care Workers

The provision of a login credentials for your organisations community support workers will provide then with access to the care worker version of the Brevity Care mobile application.

Back Office administrative staff

For those employees whose interactions with be limited to the core product their assigned user role will determine the product features that they have access to.

 


Creating an Employee Login Credential

The following login credential steps are applicable only for a back office administrative staff member. For instructions on establishing login credentials for a community support worker refer to the topic

 

  1. Select the Employees>Employees sub-menu to open the User List page into the browser.

  2. Search for the Employee record from within the User list.

  3. Highlight the Employee record to be edited.

  4. Either click on the edit button or double click on the Employee record to open it within the Employee page within the browser.

  5. Select the button to open the Manage login page.


    Login Credentials without Branch and Team Settings

     



  6. Within the Username field input the username that will be used by the employee to access the Brevity application.

  7. Within the Password (change if required) field input the password that will be used by the employee to access the Brevity application.

    The minimum password length is 4 characters

  8. Within the Confirm Password field restate the password.

  9. Within the Role field select the role type from the drop list that will be associated with the employee’s login credential. The role selected will determine the brevity applications and features that employee can access.




  10. If branch and team assignment is available, select the mark the branch and team affiliation against the employee profile/ this will determine the records the employee has access to.

  11. Once done, click on the save button to create the login credential and exit back to the Employee profile.

    An error message is presented if the Password and Confirm Password values don’t match
