Short Message Service (SMS) Credits
This is a guide on purchasing Short Message Service Credits
If the Organisation has a requirement to communicate via text-only messages with participants and community support workers, it is advisable that Short Message Service (SMS) Credits be purchased. An SMS message contains only text (no pictures or videos) and is limited to 160 characters.
SMS Credits can be used through the Bulk SMS Notification and SMS Communication features of the product
SMS credits are enabled via the integration tab and will require a valid credit card registered into the Billing Settings. To purchase SMS credits slide the SMS integration button to the right to enable the purchase of SMS Credits tiles and view the SMS purchase history.
Select the SMS tile applicable for the number of credits that are to be purchased. Upon processing of the SMS credits purchase the particulars of the transaction will be updated into the SMS Credit Purchase History record grid.

If an attempt is made to purchase SMS credits with either incomplete or invalid credit card information, the message below will be shown.
On completion of the transaction, the SMS Balance field in the Organisation tab will show the updated balance of SMS Credits purchased.
To assist the organisation in tracking remaining SMS Credits , a SMS Low Balance Threshold alert value can be maintained and the dashboard reports a 0 or low balance SMS Credits Alert.
