Introduction

The My calendar module allows nominated staff members to create new shifts which can then be synchronised with Google, Microsoft outlook and Mac OS X calendar.

Navigating the Shift Page

Recording a Shift

To record a shift through the My Calendar module observe the following steps:

Access the Brevity Self Service portal using your allocated login credentials.
Click the My Calendar Menu to open the My Calendar page.
Select the Record Session button to open the Save Shift page.
Within the Shift date field, either accept the default date or input in free text or select from the date picker an alternate service delivery date.
Within the From field Input the start time of the service.
Within the To field Input the end time of the service.
Within the Client field, either accept the default client listed or select a different client from the drop down list.
Within the Client field select the service from the drop down listing that is being delivered.
Select the SAVE SHIFT followed by the OK button, to create the shift.

Completing a Shift

To complete a shift through the My Calendar module observe the following steps:

Access the Brevity Self Service portal using your allocated login credentials.
Click the My Calendar Menu to open the My Calendar page.
Navigate to the applicable date.
Highlight the applicable shift.
Double click on the selected shift panel to open the save shift page.
Within the comments field input particulars of any notes associated with the shift.
Select the completed field.
Within Actual Start time field input the time that the shift commenced.
Update the shift with the applicable Consult, Admin or Travel time.
Within the Client notes field input particulars of any notes associated with the shift
Select the SAVE shift button to set the shift status to completed.
