This page guides through process of allocating a client to the support workers profile..

Introduction

The employee record is configured with a feature that enables you to allocate one of more preferred clients against the client profile. The employee that has been assigned the client will in-turn be reflected also on the client profile. The assignment of a client to a particular support worker is intended to acknowledge and supports the clients right of choice, choice that for example can include the client requesting support workers that are either male, live in the same area or speak a particular language.

When assigning an employee to the client's service schedule, you can during service rostering select the "Client Assigned" option within the Staff type field, to list he available assigned employee. For those client delivering Support Coordination service, the use of client assignment to an employee will influence the clients that the employee has access to through the Brevity Care self service portal.

  1. In the Employee information page, select the "Link Icon" in the "Care Worker Clients" information.

  2. Once selected a "Search Field" containing client names will pop-up, search for the name of the client and select the client.

  3. Click the "Save Button" once done

Removing the link of Care worker to the Client

In the Care Worker Clients Information under the Employee information page, Slide the "Horizontal Slide Bar" and then select the "Remove Link Icon" then select the "Save Button" to save the changes.

observe the following steps:

  1. Select the Employees > Employees sub menu to open the User List page within the browser.

  2. Search for the Employee record from within the User list.

  3. Highlight the employee record to be edited.

  4. Either click on the edit button or double click on the employee record to open it within the Employee page within the browser.

  5. Click the Link Record icon located above the Care Worker Client to open a search field.

  6. Input the clients name and select from the matching name(s) listed within the drop down list.

  7. The Care Workers Clients data grid will update with the particulars of the selected client.

  8. Select the Save button


Allocating multiple clients to a Support Worker

To allocate multiple clients to a support worker observe the following steps:

  1. Refer to steps 1 through to 5 as outlined under the topic Allocating a client to a Support Worker.

  2. From the drop down list select the Advanced Search icon to open the Find screen within the browser.

  3. To multi-select clients that will be assigned to the support , hold the CTRL key and select the required records.

  4. Click the SELECT button to update the Care Workers Clients data grid with the particulars of the selected clients.

  5. Select the Save button.


Removing a Client from a Support Worker

To remove a client from the Care Worker Clients data grid, slide the horizontal slide bar to the right and select the Remove Link Button that corresponds to the client. The data grid will automatically refresh.
