This page guides you through the process of creating and maintaining goal templates.

Introduction

Goal Template records within Brevity are accessed through the Administration > 11. Goal Templates sub-menu. Goal templates allow you to list the tasks the client must work through to achieve their goals. Goal templates and applicable tasks once associated with a client are accessible through the Brevity Care Mobile application. The goal templates allow you to specify all the individual tasks the client must complete to achieve their stated goal. Goals can either be generic for all client or specific with the needs of an individual client. When registering client specific goals it is recommended that you include the particulars of the client in the goal name.

Navigating the Goal Templates and Tasks forms

The following is an outline of the fields that comprise the goal template page:

  1. Goal Name label: This label identifies the name of the Goal.

  2. Save: This button is used to create as well as save updates to an existing record.

  3. Close: This button will close the Goal Template page.

  4. Name: This field is used to input the particulars of the Goal that the client would like to achieve.

  5. Goal Task: This is a grid structure that enlists the tasks associated with the goal.

  6. Add Goal Task: Selecting this icon provides access to the Goal Task page.

The following is an outline of the fields that comprise the goal task page:

  1. Save: This button is used to create as well as save updates to an existing record.

  2. Close: This button will close the Goal Task page.

  3. Name: This field is used to input the particulars of the goal task that are associated with the goal.

  4. Goal: This is an auto generated field. It specifies the name of goal against which the task is being assigned.


Creating Goal Templates

To create a goal template record, observe the following steps:

  1. Select the Administration> 11. Goal Template sub-menu to open the Goal List page.

  2. Click on the (plus) button to open the New 11. Goal Templates record page to create new goal template.

  3. Within the name field input a description of the goal template.

  4. Click the SAVE button to create the goal template record. This will enable the Goal Tasks datagrid.

  5. To assign a task to the goal click the (plus) button located above the Goal tasks data grid to open the New Goal Task record page. Within the name field input a description of the goal task. Click the SAVE button to create the goal template record, followed by clicking the the CLOSE button to exit the page and return to the Goal Template page. Goal Tasks data grid updated. Repeat this step for additional goal tasks.

  6. Click the CLOSE button to exit the page and return to the Goal List page.


Editing Goal Templates

To edit a goal template record observe the following steps

  1. Select the Administration> 11. Goal Template sub-menu to open the Goal List page.

  2. Within the search field input the name of the Goal template record.

  3. Search for the Goal Template record within the Goal Template list.

  4. Highlight the Goal Template record to be edited.

  5. Either click on the edit button or double click on the Goal Template record to open it within the Goal Template page.

  6. Edit the goal template record. You can change the name of the goal.

  7. Double click on the goal task to be edited. Update the task name.

  8. Click Save button to save the changes on goal task form.

  9. Click Close button to get back on the goals record form.

  10. Click Save button to save the goal record.

  11. Click Close button to get back on goal listing page.


Deleting Goal Templates

To delete goal templates, observe below steps:

  1. Select the Administration>11. Goal Template menu to open Goal Template List page within the browser.

  2. Search for the Goal Template record within the Goal Template list.

  3. Highlight the Goal Template record to be deleted.

  4. Select the "Delete Button" in the upper right portion of the window.

  5. Select the OK button to confirm the deletion of the selected record. Record listing will refresh.

     


Activate and Deactivate a Goal template record

To edit the activity status of a Goal template record observe the following steps:

  1. Refer to steps 1-2 under the topic Edit a Goal template Record.

  2. To deactivate the Interest record select the Deactivate button . Deactivating the record will set it to read-only.

  3. To activate the Interest record select the Activate button.

  4. Click the CLOSE button to exit the page and return to the Goal List page.


Accessing Goal Templates

You can access the created goal templates while creating client goal record. You can add the created goal templates against the client record.

  1. Navigate to the client record for which you need to add the goal template.

  2. From the client goals section, click on + button to add goal record against the client.

  3. Within the goals field, select the goal template that you want to link with client record.

  4. Add necessary details. Click Save button.
