Client's Report



You can generate different types of reports for the client by using the report page. It will allow you to get information from different tables and fields within the client section of Brevity and create a report for with that information. You can also see the customized report on this page if you created a customized report (See System Reports to check how to create a customized report).


You can go to this page by going to the Clients Menu. Then click on reports tab from sub menu.

Generating A Report

Before you can generate a report, you need to set the date(s) that the report will cover and you can select the client / employee if you want to create a report for that client / employee. 

 


After filling in the information, double - click on the report that you want to generate.


It will open the filter page. You can add additional filter for the report on this page. If you don't need additional filter for the report, click on the next button.


Another page will open and it will show you the generated report. On this page, you can save the report by clicking on the save button.


You can save the report in either excel, pdf, or word format. After selecting the format, it will be directly saved to your computer.


After saving or opening the report, you can print the report by using the 3rd party software. You can use the print report shortcut by holding the "CTRL" key from your keyboard and then pressing the letter "P" to open the print dialog box.

Setting the Filter for the Report

You can set the filter for the report if you want to create your own filter. From the report double click on the report you want to generate without filling in the fields for the date and name of the client / employee. 


It will open the report filter. You can add the filter by clicking on the filter drop down. 


It will open the list of fields. You can select any fields from the list. Then input the value that you want to set with the filter. 


You can add another rule by clicking on the +Add Rule Button.

It will open another filter field. Fill in the details for the filter. Once you are done setting the filter, click on the Next button.


Brevity will generate the report based on the filter you set. You can save the report by clicking on the save button.
