This page guides you through the process of creating new and maintaining existing Interest records.

 

Introduction

Interest module specifies the details of various hobbies and likes. Interest records within Brevity are accessed through the Administration>Interest menu. Interest records are linked with the employee record profiles.

Navigating & Creating the Interest form

For navigating to the interest forms observe below steps

  1. Navigate to the 'Administration, menu.

  2. Select ‘Interest’ submenu.

  3. You will get navigated to the Interests page. Click on +New button.

  4. Enter the Name of Interest.

  5. Click Save.

Edit Interest Record

To edit a Interest record observe the following steps

  1. Select the Administration>Interest menu to open Interest List page within the browser.

  2. Search for the Interest record from within the Interest list.

  3. Highlight the Interest record to be edited.

  4. Either click on the edit button or double click on the Interest record to open it within the Interest page.

  5. Edit the Interest record, update name of the Interest record.

  6. Select the save button to update the record.

  7. Select the Close button to exit back to the Interest List page.

Delete Interest Record

Although not recommended, and you are referred to the notes on record deactivation. To delete a language record observe the following steps

  1. Select the Administration>Interest menu to open Interest List page within the browser.

  2. Search for the Interest record from within the Interest list.

  3. Highlight the Interest record to be deleted.

  4. Select the "Delete Button" in the upper right portion of the window.

  5. Select the OK button to confirm the deletion of the selected record. Record listing will refresh.


Activate and Deactivate a Interest record

To edit the activity status of a Interest record observe the following steps:

  1. Observe the steps 1-4 as outlined under Edit the Interest record.

  2. To deactivate the Interest record select the Deactivate button . Deactivating the record will set it to read-only.

  3. To activate the Interest record select the Activate button.

  4. Once done, you can exit back to the Interest List.

Linking the Users to Interest record

To link the users to interest record observe the following steps:

  1. Select the Employees>employees menu to open employees List page within the browser.

  2. Search for the Employee record from within the Interest list.

  3. Highlight the Employee’s record to be linked.

  4. Scroll down the page and navigate to likes & dislikes section.

  5. Click attachment icon to link interest against the employee record.

  6. Select the interest to be linked.

  7. Click Save button to save the employee record.
