Available Shifts.



This page will let you check shifts that do not have an employee assigned to that service schedule. You can cancel, change time and assign an employee on that shift.


Move your mouse on the Employees from the Main Menu and then click on available shifts from the sub menu to go to this page.


There are available options that can be used to navigate this page. These are the following options:

  1. Status dropdown: This menu display the available shifts according to their status. 
  2. New Button: This will create a new service schedule for the client. 
  3. Edit Button: Using this button will allow the user to edit the available shifts. 
  4. Action Menu: This menu can do specific actions to available shifts.
  5. Date: This option can be used to display the available shift for a specific date(s).
  6. Search Box: This option can be used to search the shift 
  7. Display drop-down: Can be used to show the number of an available shift in the list.
  8. Select All checkbox: Clicking this checkbox will select all the available shift in the table
  9. Tabs: Clicking on a different tab will sort the available shift in either ascending or descending order.
  10. Navigation Button: Switch between pages

Creating a New Shift

Click on the + New button to create a service schedule for the client


Fill out all information for the shift. Once done, click save

Editing the shift

If there are changes in the shift, you can search for the shift and edit it. You can either use the date field to search for the date(s) of the shift or you can use the search field to search for the client's name. You can use both fields to narrow down the searching of the shift.


Click on the shift then click edit. You can also double click the shift to edit it.

 

Edit the changes for the shift. Once done, click the save button

Assigning an Employee to the Shift


When you edit the available shift, there is a warning that you need to select an employee to complete the scheduling.


To assign an employee, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the add button in the employees section.


You can search for the suitable employee for the shift by using the search section. Once you input the requirements for the shift, click on search to show the list of available employees. The green bar indicates the time of the shift. 

Click the name of the employee you want to assign to the shift and click select. You will be directed back to the previous page. Click save to save the changes for the shift.

Bulk Cancel

Bulk cancel is a feature where you can cancel several shifts at once. To do this, click on the shifts you want to cancel and click bulk cancel

It will have a confirmation pop up. Click Ok to confirm

Change Time

From the list of available shifts, you can check for the start time and end time of the shift. 


You can change the time of the shift by clicking on the shift and click on change time


Set the start time and end time of the shift then click save.

Switch Worker

You can reassign an employee for the shift. To do this, click on the shift and click on switch worker.


You can search for the name of the employee using the search field. Then click on the button beside the name of the employee to select the employee then click select.

It will show a confirmation window. Click on Ok to confirm
