Client Mobile App

The Client Mobile App is a section in Brevity where you could let your Client see their Service Schedule, Funding, Documents and, even let them request a service schedule. The Client Mobile App can be downloaded in Google Play for Android users and App Store for iOS users. The app that the support worker is using is the same app for the client.

 


Setting the Client’s Login

Granting access to the Client app can be done from the Client’s Profile in Brevity Software. Click on the Manage Login from the top portion of the client’s profile to assign a login to your Clients.

 

A pop up will appear and will allow you to create the client’s username and password. Click on the save button to save the username, and password that you have assigned to the client.

 

The client should have their username, password and the company code when logging in. Make sure to include the company code as they cannot login if the company code is missing.


Downloading the Mobile App

The Client Mobile App is the same as the Brevity Mobile App. They just need to download the app from Google Play (for Android Users) and App Store (for Apple Users).

Downloading the Mobile App in Android

They have two ways to download the app on the Android Platform.



First, open google play from your mobile and search for "Brevity Care Software". Install the application and you can use the application on your mobile.



The software requires at least an Android version of Marshmallow (Version 6.0). Refer to your mobile manual on how to check which version of Android your mobile is running.

 

The second way to download the app is by going to our website (https://www.brevity.com.au/), scroll to the very bottom of the page, and click on the icon get it on google play.

It will open the Google Play Store so you can download and install it on your mobile.

Downloading the Mobile App in iOS

There also two ways to download the mobile app using iPhone devices. First, you can go to the app store and search for Brevity Care Software. Install the app then after installing, you can use the app



Brevity Mobile App requires iOS version 9.0 or later. Refer to your mobile manual on how to check your iOS version. Brevity mobile app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices.



The second way to install the app is by going to our website (https://www.brevity.com.au/), scroll to the very bottom of the page, and click on "Download on the App Store" button. The link will open the app store so you can install it.

 


Controlling the App

You could control the information that you could show to your client. You could either show or hide the client’s funding or you could also block your client from requesting a service schedule from their app. You could change the settings when you go to Administration from Main Menu and then click on Branch Setup from the sub menu.

 

Under the Support Worker Apps section, you will see the field for the Allow Client Service Request and Show Client Plan Balances. The Allow Client Service Request is the field where you could allow the client to request a service schedule. The Show Client Plan Balances is the field where you could set if you wanted to show or hide your Client’s Funding.

 


Login Page

Your clients need the username and password that has been set by the Brevity Administrator. The company code is also required in logging in to the app as this will not let them login if they didn’t include the company code when logging in.

 

If your client cannot login, your Brevity Administrator should be the one who will change the username / password for the client. Brevity support or staff cannot change these details for the client


Shift Page

This is the first page that the client would see after logging in to the Client Mobile App. It will show them the shifts for the day, the graph for the current day, and their funding (this may be turned off).

 

  1. Company’s Name: This is the name of the company that is working with the client.

  2. Settings Page: This is the section where they could adjust the shifts from a specific date and the page where they could change their password and logout.

  3. Shift Tab: They could use these tabs to see the current shift (dashboard), upcoming shifts, completed, and unconfirmed shifts (Shifts that don’t have an employee assigned to it).

  4. Graphs: These are the graph for the current day.

  5. Service type: This is the service that will be given to the client.

  6. Employee’s Name: This is the Employee that is assigned to the client for that service schedule.

  7. Shift Time: This is the time of the shift.

  8. Plan Balances: This is the funding of the client. This could be turned off from Brevity Software if you don’t want them to see their funding.

  9. Add Service Schedule: They could request for a service schedule using this button. This could also be turned off from the Brevity Software.

 

 

 

 

 

 

If the client clicks on the right arrow from the shift section, it will show them further details of the shift.

 

It will show them the Activity Notes of the Shift, and the Medication for the shift. Pressing the left arrow button on the upper left will let you return to the main page.


Requesting for a shift from the app

If the Client wanted to request for a shift, they could tap on the + button from their Shift Section of the Mobile App. This feature can be turned off if you don’t want your client to request a shift from the app.

 

They need to fill up the information for the new Shift. Then they must tap on the save button to save the requested shift.

The requested service schedule will be automatically added from the Schedule Board. The client will also see a confirmation that the shift has been added successfully.

 


Incidents

The incident section is a section in the client’s app that lets them view and create an incident that related to the client. This section can be controlled and manage from Brevity Software. They could access this section by tapping on the Incident tab on the bottom part of the app.

 


Controlling the Client Incident Section

The Brevity Software users could control what are the incidents that the client could see from the app. You could show or hide the incident record by going on Care Management from the Main menu and then clicking on Accident / Incident / Complaints from the sub menu.

 

This section will give you the list of the incident for all the clients. you could use the search box to search for the name of the client and the date fields to show all the incidents on that date range. Double click on the client’s incident record from the table to open the client’s incident report.

 

If you set the allow client access to yes, this incident report will be shown to the client’s mobile app. Otherwise, if you set it to No, this will hide the incident report to the client’s mobile app.

 


Creating an incident from the Client’s App

The client could create an incident from the app by tapping on the + button from the incident section.

 

The client needs to fill in all the information on the incident page and then click on save. This will create the record on the accident / incident section of Brevity.

 


Documents Section

This is the section where they could see the documents that you have shared with the client. They could access this section by tapping on the document tab on the lower portion of the app.

 

It will show them the list of documents that they could see. If they tap on the document, it will open the document preview so they could see what is on that document.

 


Settings Page

The settings page of the app will let the client change the shift dates that are showing from the app. This is also the page that they could use to change their password.

 

They could go to the settings page by tapping on the 3 lines on the upper right

 

On the settings page, they could change the range of dates so that the mobile will show the shifts based on the selected dates. They need to tap apply to refresh the view of the app.

 

They could also change the password that they will be using in the app under the change password section
