Navigating the Product Dashboard

This page provides an overview on the Dashboard configuration settings.

 

This page provides an overview of the fields and record grid that support the Dashboard configuration settings, available through the System Setup menu. Access to these settings is restricted to users with ADMIN privileges.

  • Entries per page: This drop-down field determines how many entries are displayed in the dashboard list. The number of dashboards displayed would be determined by the custom entries the client builds.

  • Search: This field is used to perform a partial or full-name search across the dashboard entries.

  • Name: This column lists the name of the dashboard.

  • Roles: This column lists the user roles assigned to the dashboard.

  • isDefault: This column indicates whether the dashboard is a default for the assigned users. The default view is set by clicking the Mark Default button

  • Add Dashboard button: Displays the Add/Edit View form.

  • Edit button: Displays the Add/Edit View form.

  • View Columns button: Displays the view design canvas.

  • Replicate button: This button replicates the selected record view.

  • Delete button: This button deletes the selected record view.

  • Name: This field is used to list the name of the Dashboard.

  • User Roles: This field lists the user roles associated with the Dashboard.

  • Design Canvas: The design canvas is used to build the dashboard by placing sections, group headers, iframe codes, charts, and record views.

  • Section element: This element is used as a container for the Group Header elements, iframe codes, charts, and views. Elements are identified with a label name.

  • Group Header element: This element is a container for iframe codes, charts, and views. Headers can be identified with a label name.

  • Charts: a listing of charts either delivered as part of product configuration or built through the Chart function accessed from the manage menu.

  • Views: A listing of record views either delivered as part of product configuration or built through the table view function accessed from the manage menu.

  • Save Form: This button saves the changes made on the design canvas.
