Editing a Form

To edit a form, observe the following steps:

1. In the product’s system setup component, select Table from the Manage menu to display the Create Tables List.

2. Search for the table against which the Form tab will be edited.

3. Click the Forms button to display the table form list

4. Two edit options are available. Edit the form structure and edit the form name.
   
   To edit the form structure, click the Build from button for the form marked as YES in the IsDefault column to display the form build canvas. Refer to (5.)

To edit the form name, click the Edit button to expose the Add/Edit forms, and adjust either the form or display name or form description.

5. Within the form build canvas, you have the following options available.

   Add additional fields not previously configured into the form canvas
Remove fields from the form canvas
Reposition fields on the form canvas
Establish a new section on the form canvas
Edit the section name or remove it from the form canvas
Establish a new group header on the form canvas
Edit the group header name or remove it from the form canvas
Add or remove foreign key views to the form canvas
Add or remove views to the form canvas
Add a script to the form
   
   

6. After applying your changes to the form canvas, click the SAVE FORM button to close the form and return to the tab list.

Delete a Form

YOU ARE NOT TO DELETE the forms that are delivered as part of the product. In doing so, you will lose access to the data entered into the table bound to the form displayed in the UI. To delete custom-built forms, observe the following steps:

1. Redefine the default form used for data entry by clicking the Mark Default button in the IsDefault column.

2. Observe the steps 1 - 3 as listed above.

3. Click the delete button, followed by the continue button on the Delete Confirmation as shown below.
