Release Notes 18-May-25: Plan Management Invoice Processing Setting Updates
As per a recent webinar where we discussed the Section 33 and NDIS rules relating to budget period usage, we have now added an option to disable the restriction by period, to allow all released funding to be used regardless of the invoice service periods.

We have added a new setting on the Organisation setting page (under Plan Management settings) that allows you to disable the restriction. Setting this to no will allow you to utilise all avalaible (released funds) in the plan regardless of which period the services relate to.
Extending the Possible Duplicate Check
We have added a new option within the system on the Organisation setting page (under Plan Management settings) that extends the possible duplicate check to include the category in addition to the supplier and service dates. This is useful for providers that provide services across multiple categories, which saves time reviewing overlapping invoices.
Keyword Search
We have improved the searching within Brevity to allow for keyword and similar searches. Previously, for example, the Client or Provider name needed to be entered exactly as it is shown in Brevity for the system to match. Now you are able to enter the first name and last name in any order for it to match and it also will match for slight variations in spelling.
Improving Management of Budget for Plans with Release Period
We are in the process of improving how CORE and Provider Allocations work within Brevity in consideration of the new Period Funding plans. This is to give you simpler visibility across periods including any budget allocations and usage by period.
