Release Notes 18-May-25: NDIS PACE Related System Updates

Starting 17-May-25, all new NDIS plans will be released and managed using funding components and funding periods through staged rollouts.

This means:

Plans issued after 17-May-25 will follow the new structure
It’s essential to obtain the latest plan information from your participants

We have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure Brevity Care Software is fully updated to support these changes in our systems.

This guide highlights the changes we have made to support the new NDIS plan changes.

Quoting Module

A new Release Period field has been added to indicate the funding release period from the participant plan. This will be carried over to the Client Funding record to ensure funding usage is restricted based on the selected period.

Client Funding

A Release Period field has also been added to the Client Funding record to indicate the funding release period from the participant plan. This will ensure funding usage is restricted based on the selected period.

A new dashboard has also been added to the Client Funding to indicate funding periods and utilisation by period.

Plan Management

The NDIS API integration has been updated to support updated endpoints. This includes sync support for the component and period changes. It also allows view of any component within the plan that are not plan managed.

Total budget has been renamed to Available Budget within the plan budgets to indicate what has been released to date. New columns have also been added to show total budget and when funds will be next released.

Period breakdown can also be viewed when applicable by double-clicking into the budget category.

Statement has also been updated to display funding period info when applicable.

Support Coordinator Portals

Support Coordinator Portal have also been updated to reflect the period changes. This includes what has been released to date and as well as details about the next release.

Support Coordination Budget Sync

The budget sync for support coordinators has also been updated to reflect the Component and Period changes. New fields have been added to indicate to date Released Amounts and Next Release info.
