Introduction

Brevity supports the electronic submission of funding claims through to the NDIA and the receipt of the payment remittance through a core service claim api. If you funding claim has not been configured to support electronic processing please reach out to an agent from the support team on support@brevity.com.au.

titleClick to expand and preview the fields and objects that comprise the funding claim page:
  1. Submit Claim: This button will dispatch the funding claim electronically to the NDIA. Upon submission this button will be hidden.

  2. Print Invoices: This button will open the Print Invoices page, from where you can print an invoice of the participants service in pdf format.

  3. Manage Payments: This button will open the Manage Payment Status page, from where you can manage the statuses of the invoice records listed within the batch.

  4. Download Claim File: Selecting this button will download and generate a funding claim csv file.

  5. Generate New Claim: Selecting this button will generate a new funding claim. This function is to be used when you are resubmitting payment claims that had been rejected.

  6. Name: This field is used to identify the name of the funding claim batch. File name is comprised of the funding source and the reporting period for the batch.

  7. Start Date: This field is used to identify the Report from date for the funding claim.

  8. End Date: This field is used to identify the Report to date for the funding claim.

  9. Created By: This field is used to identify the user that created the funding claim.

  10. Created On: This field is used to identify the date & time that the funding claim was created.

  11. Type: This field by default lists funding claim.

  12. Funding Source: This field by default lists NDIS

  13. Invoice Batch: This field will be blank unless the batch is a copy, whereby this field will then mirror the information contained within the name field.

  14. Total Hours: This field is used identify the total number of hours covered under the claim.

  15. Total Amount: This field is used identify the total amount covered under the claim.

  16. Unclaimed tile: This tile will list a count and $ total of invoices in the Funding Claim Batch that have not been claimed. Clicking this tile will filter the invoices within the batch, displaying unclaimed invoices, which would be applicable to the entire batch.

  17. Partially Paid tile: This tile will list a count and $ total of invoices that have been remitted back as partially paid. Clicking this tile will filter the invoices within the batch, displaying only invoices partially paid.

  18. Paid tile: This tile will list a count and $ total of invoices that have been remitted back as paid. Clicking this tile will filter the invoices within the batch, displaying only those invoices that are paid.

  19. Gap tile: This tile will list a count and $ total of invoices that have been remitted back with a gap being the batch and remittance totals. Clicking this tile will filter the invoices within the batch, displaying invoices with a remittance gap, displaying only those invoices that have a gap, specifically invoices partially paid.

  20. Rejected tile: This tile will list a count and $ total of invoices that have been remitted back as rejected. Clicking this tile will filter the invoices within the batch, displaying only those invoices that have been rejected.

  21. Cancelled tile: This tile will list a count and $ total of invoices that have been cancelled either prior to or after submitting the PM Claim batch/receipting the remittance from the NDIS. Clicking this tile will filter the invoices within the batch, displaying only those invoices that have been cancelled.

  22. Overpayment tile: This tile will list a count and $ total of invoices that have been remitted back that have been overpaid. Clicking this tile will filter the invoices within the batch, displaying only those invoices that have been subject to an over-payment.

  23. On Hold tile: This tile will list a count and $ total of invoices that have been placed on hold. Clicking this tile will filter the invoices within the batch, displaying only those invoices that have been subject to being placed On Hold.

  24. Name: This column lists the claim reference number.

  25. Date: This column lists the date of service.

  26. Client: This column lists the name of the participant that received the service.

  27. Claim Code: This column lists the NDIS pricelist code.

  28. Total Amount: This column lists the $value of the service(s) the participant received.

  29. Status: This column lists the processing status of the funding claim invoice line.

  30. Comments: This column lists and error messages processed with the remittance.


Claim Submission

Observe the steps outlined within the topic Generating a Funding Claim. To submit your funding claim through to the NDIA click the Submit Claim button. After the NDIA processes the claim batch, the remittances will be released and electronically reconciled against the individual invoices included in that batch.
