This page guides you through the process of copying an existing HCP Service Type record.

The Service Type form can be used to replicate existing service types that have similar characteristics and if they are assigned into a pricelist have similar charge rates. To replicate an existing service type observe the following steps:

  1. Search and select the record from the Service Type list that is to be replicated.

  2. Highlight and either click the EDIT button or double click to display the Service Type record.

  3. Click the CREATE COPY button. The product will display a dialogue that requests confirmation, selecting OK will generate a new record.

  4. Ensure the text displayed within the Name field is updated.

  5. Adjust any field attributes.

  6. Click the SAVE button.

    If the service type selected is assigned into a pricelist, the replicated service will also be written into the pricelist, which will require a review of the charging rates.
