The following is an outline of the fields and objects that comprise the Client funding page:

  1. Type: This is drop down field that lists whether the client funding record is group or individually based. Individual is the default, selecting Group as the type, hides the client field and makes visible the name field. This field can not be updated once the funding record has been saved.

  2. Client: This is a drop down field that lists the HCP client name. The client record can be specified by free text input or selecting from the drop down list. Where the funding page is called from the client record, this field is updated automatically.

  3. Funding Source: This is a drop down field that lists the HCP funding sources maintained within Brevity that can be assigned to the Client Funding record.

  4. MAC Number: This field lists the HCP client’s My Aged Care number. The field is updated automatically on load of the Funding Page from the client profile, other it will need to be keyed in.

  5. Pricelist: This is a drop down field that lists the price lists maintained within Brevity that can be assigned to the Client Funding record.

  6. Invoice To: This is a drop down field that lists the service providers that have been established within brevity. For a registered HCP provider, this field would not be updated.

  7. Update Shift on Publish: The value set against this will determine whether changes made to the funding profile on publishing will be updated back onto HCP client services.

  8. Start Date: This field is used to specify the commencement date of the funding period. The date can be specified as free text or by using the calendar picker.

  9. End Date: This field is used to specify the cessation date of the funding period. The date can be specified as free text or by using the calendar picker. To access the end date you MUST click the Change End Date button to make the end date field visible.

  10. Establishment Fee: This field is used to input an establishment fee, if this is changed to the HCP client to cover the cost of the initial set up of their package, including any care planning, budget preparation or associated administration tasks. The establishment fee would be determined by the client’s HCP level.

  11. Allocated: This field is used to input an amount of HCP client funds that will be set aside.

  12. Utilised total: This is a system field that lists the sum of the funds previously utilised on services and service delivered and billed during the service agreement period

  13. Balance: This field is used to specify the HCP Clients budget for the period of the service agreement, based upon $ values input to the Transferred Subsidy and Transferred ITF fields or Closing balance of prior month plus the HCP clients monthly contribution.

  14. Transfer Subsidy: This field is used to input the amount of unspent funds remaining in the HCP clients package which has been transferred from the previous provider, or the amount of their contributions if they have not transferred from another provider. The amount input will be reflected within the balance field on publishing of the HCP clients funding profile.

  15. Transferred ITF: This field is used to input income tested fee amount, if this is an amount that the HCP client is required to pay as a contribution to the services that they will receive. ITF amounts carry a lifetime cap.

  16. Transferred Basic Daily Fee: This field is used to input the HCP clients Basic Daily Fee transferred from another provider, if applicable.

  17. Transferred Consumer Contribution: This field is used to input the HCP clients contribution transferred from another provider, if applicable.

  18. Total Daily Income: This is s system field that displays the Standard Daily Home Care Subsidy Rate.

  19. Total Daily Fees: This is a system field that equals the sum of the daily care management and package management fees.

  20. Total Daily Budget: This is a system generate field that is Total Daily Income - Total Daily Fees.

  21. Daily Subsidy Rate: This is a system value written to the field when the HCP funding record is created, the value reflects the daily rate for the HCP Level selected within the funding source.

  22. Government Subsidy: This is a system value written to the field when the HCP funding record is created, the value reflects the daily rate for the HCP Level selected within the funding source.

  23. Income-tested Care Fee: This field is used to input the HCP clients daily income tested fee if they have been assessed as having the capacity to provide the contribution. The Government Subsidy will be reduced by the amount of the ITCF.

  24. Total Allocated: This field reflects the sum of the Government subsidy + ITCF.

  25. Basic Daily Fee: This field is used to input the HCP clients Basic Daily Fee as a % of the Aged Care Pension. This value will increase the Total Daily Income.

  26. Consumer Additional Contribution: This field is used to input the client contribution, if it is deemed that this is something that they can afford.

  27. ARIA: This field is used to input the Accessibility and Remoteness Index of Australia rate, which is a viability supplement for home care if applicable for the HCP client. This supplement supports HCP providers. This value will increase the Total Daily Income.

  28. Dementia and Cognition: This field is used to input the cognition and dementia rate, which is applicable to those HCP clients with moderate to severe cognitive impairment. This supplement supports HCP providers. This value will increase the Total Daily Income.

  29. EACHD: This field is used to input the Extended Aged Care at Home - Dementia rate if applicable for the HCP client. This supplement supports HCP providers. This value will increase the Total Daily Income.

  30. Hardship: This field is used to input the hardship rate, which is applicable to those HCP clients which are in financial hardship. This supplement supports HCP providers. This value will increase the Total Daily Income.

  31. Oxygen and Enteral Feeding: This field is used to input either the rates for Oxygen, Enteral Feeding or both. This supplement supports HCP providers. This value will increase the Total Daily Income.

  32. Veterans: This field is used to input the rate associated with providing supports to a veteran who has a service related mental health condition. This supplement supports HCP providers. This value will increase the Total Daily Income.

  33. Viability: This field is used to input the rate associated with providing supports to HCP client located in rural or remote areas. This supplement supports HCP providers. This value will increase the Total Daily Income.

  34. Care Management: This is a system calculated field calculated as CM% x Daily Subsidy Rate or fixed $value respective to the HC-package. The fixed $value and % are prescribed by the Department of Health and Aged Care.

  35. Package Management: This is a system calculated field calculated as PM% x Daily Subsidy Rate or fixed $value respective to the HC-package. The fixed $value and % are prescribed by the Department of Health and Aged Care.

The following is an outline of the fields and objects that comprise the Funding Breakdown Budget Details page:

  1. Client Funding: This field lists the name of the HCP client, their funding source and the period of their service agreement as retained against the client funding record.

  2. Days: This field lists the number of days covered by the month, either full or partial of the calendar month.

  3. Date: This field identifies that date of the monthly contribution.

  4. Month Contribution: This field lists the monthly contribution either for a full or partial of the calendar month.

  5. Finalised: This field is used to identify if the budget breakdown record has been finalised.

  6. Allocated: This field lists 0.00

  7. Balance: This field is used to identify the balance of Opening Balance + Monthly Contribution.

  8. Home Care Balance: This field is used to identify the balance held by Services Australia.

  9. Management Fee: This field is used to identify the sum of daily fees.

  10. Base Contribution: This field is used to identify the Total Daily Income.

  11. Base Subsidy: This field lists a null value.

  12. Admin Fee: This field lists a null value.

  13. Adjustments: This field lists a null value.

  14. Additional Subsidy: This field lists a null value.

The following is an outline of the fields and objects that comprise the Client funding code page:

  1. Client Funding: This field lists either the name of the HCP client, their funding source and the period of their service agreement as retained against the client funding record.

  2. Service Type: This is a drop down field that lists the service lines maintained within Brevity. Service types listed are based upon the the price list that was set against the client funding record . Select the applicable service that will be delivered to the HCP client.

  3. Budget (Optional): This field is used to specify the notional budget amount that is associated with delivery of the support and services to the participant. Please note that specifying a budget amount will restrict the number of the services that are scheduled based upon the accumulated cost of those services. Once the funding has expired services will be reflected as pending.

  4. Used to Date: This field is used to specify the $ value of funds already used in relation to that service.

  5. Allocated: This field is used to specify the $ value of funds allocated in relation to that service.

  6. Utilised Total: This is a system field that reflects the total funds utilised.

  7. Balance: This is a system field that lists the asat balance less funds utilised total and used to date.

  8. After hours: This field is used to specify whether the service will be delivered after hours at the applicable funded rate.

  9. Saturday: This field is used to specify whether the service will be delivered on a Saturday at the applicable funded rate.

  10. Sunday: This field is used to specify whether the service will be delivered on a Saturday at the applicable funded rate.

  11. Public Holiday: This field is used to specify whether the service will be delivered on a Public Holiday at the applicable funded rate.

  12. Transport Funding Code: This field is used only when transport needs to be charge separately, specify the code against which the transport charge will be invoiced.

  13. Travel Funding Code: This field is used only when travel needs to be charge separately, specify the code against which the transport charge will be invoiced.
