Introduction
The Brevity Care mobile app allows the Support Worker to create new service requests. A service request can only be raised for the services covered under the clients funding. Within Brevity the system administrator can specify restrictions based upon the service type that then determine the service requests that can be raised by the Support Worker.
Service requests that are created for a service occurring TODAY will be listed into the dashboard queue, whereas service requests that are that are created for a service occurring in the FUTURE will be listed into the upcoming queue.
Client services registered by the support worker through the Brevity Care mobile app will be identified as follows in the shift panel of the app and through the schedule board.
Creating New Service
To register a new client service from the Brevity Care mobile app, whether that be for a service occurring today or upcoming the support worker will need to observe the follow steps:
Access the Brevity Care mobile app using your Support Worker login credentials.
Tap on sign from the bottom right corner of the Dashboard to open the New Service page.
Within the Service date field select the date of service.
Within the client field select the name of the client for whom the service is being scheduled for. Only clients with active funding are listed and linked to the logged in user based upon the care worker field on the client form. If the client has only a single service under their funding the service field will be automatically update with the service type as to will the Activity field.
Within the Service type select the required services. Services listed are based upon the active funding record associated with client selected at step 4.
Within the service start time field select the time that the client service commences.
Within the service end time field select the time that the client service concludes.
Within the Breaks field specify the duration of time required for a break within the service.
Within the activity field input the activities to be performed during the service.
Tap the SAVE link to create the service record.
Tap the icon to return to the Dashboard.
Restricting New Service creation
Support workers can be restricted from creating new service through the Brevity Care mobile app. These restrictions can be undertaken on the service type records by either setting the Care worker management field to No or specifying a required qualification.
