This page guides the plan manager through the process of uploading remittance advice's.

Upon receipt and processing of the bulk payment request, the NDIS will provide a remittance file in a csv format which details the invoices that have been paid or rejected. The remittance file received from the NDIS can be uploaded into Brevity to update the invoice payment statuses. For rejected payments, the NDIS supplies an error file, that can help diagnose why payments where rejected.

To upload remittance file observe the following steps

  1. Navigate to the Care Management menu and click on > Plan Management Claims submenusub-menu.

  2. From the Plan Management Claim Batch list blue toolbarList screen, select Upload Remittance button. File link

  3. Select the Remittance file from you computer using choose file button and click .

  4. Click Save and continue.

  5. It will show you the Brevity will list a preview of invoices contained within the Remittance file.

  6. Click Import data.

  7. System will ask you to confirm your action click Ok to import the data.

This will update the payment and rejection status of the invoice line items on the batch, including the payment amount of the invoices as well as the respective payment amounts received from NDIS within the claim batch. You can then check the rejected invoices within the batch, update them appropriately, and re-send to NDIS again.

Remittance The remittance files are is specific to the batches. So you need to with the claim batch that was generated from Brevity, therefore it is necessary that you first download the remittance file from PRODA and then upload it. Brevity will link to the appropriate batch automaticallyinto Brevity.
